Animal problems?

Well, you should either call an animal control expert or you could carefully do it yourself. You can carefully remove the bird from the light with a net or a long pair of thick gloves (the thicker the better so the beak wont go through and pierce your skin.) Then you need to remove the nest and dispose of it. Be careful when removing the nest because the bird will most likely come at you aggressively. It sound like it protecting something on the nest. Once the nest is gone, the bird may just fly around confused, but will find another spot to build a new one. You need to get rid lf the nest though in order for the bird to go away. Good luck and I hope this was at least a little helpful.

Actually it is against the law to disturb, move, or destroy the active nest of a wild native bird. Not much you can do, it is not like the bird is going to hurt you. You will likely cause it to abandon the nest due to too much disturbance, or the bird will just deal with it. The nest will not be there forever, eggs will hatch within a couple weeks and chicks will leave nest in a couple weeks (dependent on species) and than you will not have to worry about it anymore. If you can, try to avoid getting too close to the nest.

Hey yahoo I have a concern about this bird that is nesting on a light near my family's front door and the bird get angry when I let my dogs out and I want to know what I can do. Thanks for any answers.
