COCKATIEL IS VOMITING !!! HELP !!!?

Since you're going to the vet, I don't think there's much else you can do... Take out all their food and if possible, separate them. If the male has something, you don't want to female to get it too (though she might already) so try and keep them apart. Take the food but leave a little bit of water - don't leave anything that might aggravate them.

Also, try to think of ANYTHING you've been doing differently lately... New toys, different food, etc.

Good luck.

Do you realize that part of the courtship process is regurgitating food ? Usually the male does it to show what a great provider he is. I don't know if thats whats going on here but its good your seeing the vet. I hope you will let us know what he says.

I have two cockatiels, one is around the age of 4 (female) , the other is 5-6 (male). My uncle gave them to me about four years ago (I got to raise the female as a baby). Anyways, I brought them a birdseed stick (they both ate it),(although i'm not sure if that's the cause of it), were not even sure which one of them threw up, but we are assuming the male (5-6). The male, we did not see him eat/drink anything, while the female only nibbled at her food, before going back up to her favorite branch. She will occasionally fluffin' up (puff up). And the male also threw up today in his water bowl again. He seems to have a orange mark near his beak that can possibly be from the vomiting? Help, please !! I'm extremely concerned on behalf of both of my birds health. Is there anything I can buy for them, to stop them from vomiting? I'm going to ask my mother to go to the vet today. But, until we go to the vet, is there anything we can do in the meanwhile for them?
