I think the conure egg would be too large for a keet to sit on. Do you have a pair of conures? If you do not have a male the egg will be infertile and will not hatch no matter who sits on it.
EDIT: I meant you need a male conure (preferably of the same species) to fertilize the egg for the eggs to hatch.

Of course. Cuckoos never incubate their own eggs. If it weren't for other birds, their would be no cuckoos.
