Can i become a Marine Biologist?

All depends on where you apply to get in as some colleges are tougher than others. Grades aside all the internships and research will pad your paperwork of course. If you do not get in to start you can always go more of a community college to get some of your basics out of the way then transfer in.

What you might want to do is start looking into where you want to go to college and what it takes. Also know that once you enter college you wont start off in a marine program right away... you have to declare it as your major and apply.

Most people dream about working in a boat out in a ocean, but most people a degree like that usually end up volunteering to clean cages at the zoo or grading the professors papers, then they go to nursing school where they go broke because they used up all their financial aid chasing rainbows.

Hi I am a 17 year old student that is very passionate about becoming a Marine Biologist.

I was wondering what qualifications and grades I would need to get to go onto university.

I have got all C's and above in my GCSES's which include a Level 2 Functional skills Maths (equivalent to a C) I however haven't achieved a C in science which I will be retaking at college and have been told that I can get an A or a B. I am also traveling to south Africa next year to do a research project on great whites for 2months. I am then going back to do another 2months doing an Ocean Research internship. I will also hold a Marine Biology level 3 extended diploma, alternative to studying 3 A-levels (2 A-levels for Certificate).

Would this be enough to land me in university?

Thanks.
