I don't think pigeons regret pooping on people, if anything, they probably think it's funny.
They don't have the capacity to understand that they have done something wrong, much less feel bad about it. Everything they do is motivated by instinct. If they did something by accident they wouldn't sit around trying to apologize and it wont be their last thought on their deathbed.
All animals have emotions but not everyone has the same ones
For example, certain creatures don't give a shoot about the things we do, but they still have souls
They will pooop in your face and wont regret..Hahaha...
