My dad isn't the brightest of people, but when he came home from work, he brought a baby quail and making my sister care for it. Also, he can't bring it back to his working place since it's like across the island (I live in Hawaii).

I know it's probably gonna die, but I just want to help my sister take care of it.

The quail is really small, maybe 2-4 inches in length. My sister is keeping it in a small fish tank with some towels. She put pet bird seed in it and a cap of water. I want to tell her the quail isn't able to eat it, but she's probably gonna ignore me and think I'm trying to be a smartass.

Right now the quail is chirping a lot. Although it's freaking adorable, it makes me sad because it's probably crying for food or its parents. I don't have much to provide for it, but I do have a mug warmer that goes up to 80-100 degrees and use that to warm the bird. I just want to do something for the little guy (or girl).

What do I feed the bird?

Although this attempt to save it is most likely useless, I can't just leave it outside....
