First of all you must grow it up from a baby otherwise not gonna happen unless you spend heaps of time with it and i mean heaps of time. I had the same situation it worked slightly. The Same thing happened to me, when someone else had him for 6-7 ys. But look just try and talk to it don't all of a sudden get angry, stay carm as well as you voice, there smart in that way. Talk to it carmly! Take him out of his cage often when your home, sit him on your shoulder. And walk round with hid doing day to day stuff. They love it!! My one used to. Until he passed away of old age????

So my family friends have had this budgie for 4 years but they wouldn't interact or bond with him much, just feed him and change his water everyday. So the budgie is use to humans but hasn't really come close with one before. Anyway, my family friends no longer have space for him so I told them I would take him in, I want him to trust me and sit on my finger and not fly away, how do I gain his trust and make him like me ? :)
