How do i keep a pigeon egg warm without an incubator?

I'd candle the egg and see if its even alive before you do anything.

Just hold a light up do it, or hold it up to a light and see if you can see anything in the egg. If the egg looks empty just toss it. I'd imagine it was likely a dud to begin with or dead, especially given the fact that it was apparently tossed and is cracked.

It is great you want to help the chick survive. It is not possible to tell if it will grow and survive, the crack may mean it will not survive and it depends how long it has been there in the mud for.

the only thing you can do it try to keep it warm, not too hot though, probably body temperature as you have and see if it will survive. Try googling also for more info. Best of luck

I found a pigeon egg in the mud, slightly cracked under a nest in the tree. I think its a pigeon egg. what do i do and how do i keep it warm?! and plus is it dead? help! answer asap i'm not sure its gonna live. I've put it in a hat with straw and toilet paper with a hot water bottle covering it and a hoodie ontop of the bottle....HELP PLZZ!
