I need a name for a female spider?

I guess you can name her Arachne, which I believe originated in Greek myths. Arachne was a mortal who loved to weave, she says she does it all day. She would create such beautiful tapestries. She brags she is even better than Athena, which was the goddess of wisdom and invented weaving herself. As cocky Arachne was, she challenged Athena to see who could weave better. Arachne won, so Athena was very angry and said, "so you like to weave everyday foolish mortal? I shall turn you into a spider!" She did so, and that was how spiders were created and why they weave webs. You may find many different versions of this story, but this was the one I first heard.

If you are able to observe this said spider as you described, it is not a black widow. Black Widows prefer dark, slightly damp, undisturbed places.

Lucielle

As long as you know she is there, you can easily avoid bites.

My last pet western black widow I called Wanda(the widow) , but you can choose any name you like.

Ms. Hubby Killer

Call it lucy.

Get rid of it.

I have a spider that's living outside my house. It's a female black widow I'm being careful I never go near it and I don't want to. But she's where I can see her and observe her and I wanna name her. So what would be a good name for a female black widow??
