No.....................this was done for many years, cows which died would be ground up in to the feed for all the other cows. This is why mad cow disease became so wide spread. So no crazy zombie cows eating people, LOL.

I'm sure this practice still occurs in some counties.

Actually cows are often fed byproducts from other animals (like blood or bone meal). That kind of thing has resulted in mad cow disease outbreaks in the past.
