Injured bird!?

Yes i think a non profit bird area will take it. If it is a baby get dog food ( hard) and soak it in boiling water till it is mushy. Make sure it is kinda watery. Put a little bit on your finger and put it down it throat. Let it suck a bit and then take your finger out and it will swallow it by jerking its head up and down. Get a syringe with water and put some water on the tip of its beak and it will lick it off and keep doing that. If it is an adult get bird seed and maybe make it a bit soft just in case the bird is stunned or a bit injured.Put a little bowl of water in it and show the bird where it is by just gently dipping its beak in it. Put it in a box (kind of big) with a towel over it so the bird doesn't get stressed or doesn't try to fly out. Keep the bird safe and away from your cat till monday. Good job

One must identify a bird to what type of food it needs. Some will eat worms, bugs (meats) while others are seed eaters. Generally a seed eater has a short thicker bill and the meat eaters bill will be longer and thinner. Now feed it the proper food till it is stronger and can be released.

I just found a bird in my bedroom, I think my cat dragged the poor thing in. Nothing looks broken, however it can only fly about 2 feet off the ground before falling. I have it in a container now with a thin dish of water and some bread and a clothe. I know I'm not legally allowed to keep it, however what should I do to take care of it until Monday? Also it's a very small bird, I'm not sure if it is an adult. Would a non profit rescue place take it?
