It's not your fault, unless you didn't give him proper care.
My canary couldn't fly when je was really healthy but one day i went in to feed him when he started flying in circles at the bottom of his cage so i picked him up and put him back in and he was fine and the he started flying into the walls of the cage then he was leaning to his left the whole time through this process and then he stopped layed down on his back and the rolled to his left opened his mouth shut it and died and to think i was holding him 2 minutes earlier and i also tried doing CPR to bring him back to life but it didn't work i was crying so much thinking it was my fault. :"( I was devastated
