You need to wait until their feathers grow before you handle them. This is a great idea so they don't get cold.

I have two peachfaces both the same colour and they mated and laid four eggs two have hatched but I'm a first time bird breeder but I own a budgie as well as them and I'm wondering how old do they have to be for me to pick them up and handle them please answer this question I'm really wondering because I've always wanted to breed and now I really want to hold them after the other two hatch
