My frienda Cockatoo's body language?

Cockatoos are so easy to read because of the feathers on their head. If the feathers on it's head go straight up it's typically a sign of curiosity. It's wondering about you and wants to figure out who you are- and how nice you are.

The head bobbing is a way of bonding and the bird is trying to get along with you. It's obviously a well-socialized bird in order to interact with strangers actions like that. I'd assume it's very kind.

The foot on his chest may have been a trained trick of waving? If not, he may be begging for snacks. I've had birds who use their claws to beg for food. Try to interact with him more. He sounds intrigued by you!

He's being friendly with you, excited to see you by bobbing his head. See what happens if you put your finger by his open foot. Maybe he wants to step up on your finger.

My friend has a Cockatoo and whenever it sees me, the feathers on its head will spike up and it'll begin to bob its head, or whenever i bob my head at him, he'll do it back.. Today he put his foot to his chest and began to open and close it, he did it afew times.. Does anyone know what these movements mean ?
