My lovebirds eggs never hatches?

It means you have two females. If you want to Breed you should have DNA tested the two of them. You are never 100% correct when you feel the gap between the legs. And never let a pair of birds lay eggs more than twice a year.Always make sure you have calcium available year round.

I bought a baby lovebird 3 years ago when it was still a chick, now it's all grown up and a few people say that's it's a male but I'm not sure :/ we decided to get a female lovebirds and see what will happen. They soon laid eggs..but it never hatched, we waited for a month and a half. My dad got rid of the eggs and discovered that the egg had NOTHING but some yolky goo? So it was infertile or something. Again they laid eggs, but the same thing happend, they have laid eggs like 15 times now it never hatches! And what's worse is that when they mate the "male" is on top but sometimes the "female" is on top?! What does this mean??
