Your question is now a day old. If your puppy is still alive and not in pain, do nothing; the snake was non-venomous.

why are you asking us? If you don't know what snake it was then TAKE IT TO THE VET IMMEDIATELY for heaven's sake! Bread and milk?!

Do you think it might make a difference whether the snake was venomous or not? And do you think you should include that information in your question?

Take them both to the vet.
