They don't ask for anything except your money. I'm not sure since you're 14 though but I'm almost 100% sure there should be no law against it lol good luck parakeets are a lot of work to keep clean cages and fresh water. They live years and years so make sure you're ready to take care of it, don't let it suffer :(

You have to be 18 to buy from PetSmart. - no matter what. Bring a parent if you want the bird.

Even with no law or policy against it, a lot of people will not sell pets to people who are under the ages of 16-18 for a lot of reasons.

alright so im getting a parakeet from petsmart right after school is enda and I was wondering when you go to petsmart to purchase it do you need to bring you parents to sign anything??? I'm 14. I need someone who has got a bird like parakeet from petsmart to answer. ( if there are papers what do they ask?)
