I found several references and photos of albino (white, pigment-deficient) roaches on the Internet. However, the link below explains that what appear to be white roaches are actually newly molted roaches. Their outer dark shell falls off periodically and the new roach appears white for several hours until it darkens to its normal color.

I think it is one really big silverfish which is usually found in old books.
