Heya DeeZire :) Listen, that happened to me once too hon. This bird was stuck between a fence, so I helped it out & then held it for a moment, put it on the ground & a few mins. later it flew away. I think you should take a closer look, but try not to disturb it, but at least see if it's hurt. Perhaps you can help it if it is stuck...otherwise it might be there waiting for its mate, in that case just leave it alone & keep a watch out. Omen from past, portend for future

Do not touch or idly think

that it randomly choose it's perch

if this be its last roost take heed

that it graced your life with his

and perhaps wonderment of why

Even when I let my dog out into the front yard. It is alive, yet

has not moved from atop the lattice. I do not know if it is injured,

and I know nothing about birds. I do not know what to do?

For what reason would it be atop the lattice against the wall

just sitting there for many hours, yet does not fly away when

I open the front door, or metal screen, or my dog comes in or out?

Any suggestions or explanations? Thanks for your help.
