Tiny Dark Brown Worms? Bugs! HELP!?

Posted at: 2014-11-15
Sounds like some species of moth or butterfly larvae (silkworms or caterpillars) there are thousands of species to pick from so I'm not going to try. Unless you have a problem with moths infesting your clothing you have nothing to worry about.

Probably larvae of carpet beetles. Carpet beetles eat a lot of things besides carpets.

So I'm moving soon (2 months) and recently last months or so, I've seen about 20 of these tiny brown worms since. I found one just know and I'm tired of them. I'm scared that when I move they will follow and infest my new house. The house I'm currently living in is an old house and does not have any carpet but the worms are usually under the things on the floor (pile of dirty clothes and bags and also inside hampers)

The description of brown warms:

- Different size but not over 1 cm. (the one I've seen)

- Brownish dark color.

- Light brown hair on its back.

- Seems to have legs (6) but its shaped like a worm.

- Moves fast.

Please help!

- Christopher.
