Traveling with cockateils? Will he be okay in his cage?

Did you try to do a search on Google?

That will be GREAT for him. I wish we had more pet owners like you.

You could also cover the cage the night before the trip and keep it like that until you reach your destination. He'll stay asleep. (If your bird doesn't do well with long trips)

So, I'm going to travel with my cockatiel.. I can't bring myself to leave him at home for my grandmother to only come and see once a day and not pet him, not feed him fruits or veggies, just seed- and not pet him or anything!

He is actually really, really well-behaved and good on car rides for more than a hr+... My family and myself are going on vacation for about 3 days, and I'll have a cage that is at least 24" L16.5"W 20.5"H for him.. Will this be alright for a temporary cage (3-4 days?) I spend ALOT of time with him, so he'll be out of the cage most of the time. My parents and sister also play with him a little... Do you think he will be alright? he has NEVER had a nightfright, he is very quiet, well-behaved and takes to change EXTREMELY well... What do you think?
