External stimuli is really easy. Go into your backyard and scream at squirrel. How does it respond? Open a can of tuna fish around a cat. How does it respond?

Internal stimuli is slightly more tricky. but not much. You are an organism. What internal stimuli do you respond to? Does your body ever let you know that you have to do something?
