It probably likes the light because it attracts bugs the spider will try to eat.
I had a little grass spider that live on my desk lamp, and save for his messy web, was never a nuisance.
Sometimes he would climb up the wall and chill near the ceiling, but always found his way home.
Get a plastic container and put it on top of the light shade over the spider and then tape the container to the light shade so it can't get out. The spider will die when it doesn't get anything to eat.
Found the spider, its on the light shade, its half three in the morning im terrified. i am too scared to try and take it down or kill it, worred it would fall on me.
help.
