This is a member of the Gnaphosidae family, (ground spiders) which none in this family are considered harmful.

They can bite if trapped against the skin or mis handled, but not known to cause any significant injury.

It's a Ground spider. There are several species none of which are dangerous to humans, though some people are sensitive to the venom of at least one species, the Parson spider. They run around at night looking for bugs and that's about it. http://bugguide.net/node/view/1970/bgima...
