The classic tiger trap is a pit with a camouflaged cover and bait on it. Small sticks and plants make the cover.
I hear catching it by the toe works best. You must release him if he hollers, though.
Don't worry, this is for a writing project! I am writing a short story and there's this tiger in a trap. I want to make it as detailed and realistic as possible because of course, that makes writing better.
I'm wondering, what kinds of traps would be large enough to catch it and maybe hurt it? I'd like to leave some sort in injury but without killing it.
I promise this isn't for animal cruelty, it's just a story.
Are only cages sufficient enough to trap a tiger? In the story it's not a cub but it isn't fully grown either, if that helps. Almost to adulthood but not quite.
