Parrots do not have birth cerificates! no vet is going to ask you where you got the bird from.
you do not need paper s to go to vet. but the parrot could have chip on him .1rst go to graiglist ender "lost&foud " and post ad under"pet" location were you found it and date and post on"911 parrot alert "then if there ships on him your protected .. by law if you found domestic pet you have to report it to police or nearest pet shelter . they will tell you keep if they do not report about missing bird it is against the law to keep it without report it to authority.
tell the vet that you are unsure of how to fill out that information as the bird was a rescue ( cause technically he was ) and that this is his first check-up at the vets as far as you know.
you don't need papers for a bird, just bring him in.
just go u dont need a birth cert lol
few months ago i found a parrot in my house (yeah idk how it went inside) so i feed him and stuff. we are now best of friends. after months of trying to pet and earn its trust, i want to take him to vet. but i read some that i needed some of birth record and other papers. what if i dont have it? im afraid they will confiscate my parrot or whatever. :( i dont have his birth records, weigh etc. can i just bring him without those?
