Did you place them above the water?
Are they bathing in their water bowl?
Some birds can be trained to drink from a rabbit type water bottle...
My bird takes his pellets, dunks it in his water then eats the pellet.
LOL. Some of these Answers Are Funny. the Perches Are Not Above the water Containers however. Quite Away from them in Fact, & they All do have their bird Baths.. But Its their drinking water im Concerned about. And right now they Are Not Molting.. But It just Seems Disgusting to me .. I do Spritz them, & they do have A Separate Bird Bath. from their Drinking water. But they Still Choose to cross their Cages to poop in their drinking water. I Might Just have to Get A Covered Drinking Dish As Suggested... what I want to know is.. is this Common? And Can it be Corrected? If Im Doing All that was stated? Alreadly?.. Just Curious.
My bird bathes in his water bowl. When he is molting, he sits at the edge of the bowl and fusses with his feathers until the fall in the water. If you don't like the things you bird chooses to do, get a closed bird waterer container to hang at the side of the cage.
Move from under their perches, or they may need a separate bathing comtainer. Try spritzing them gently with a water bottle once a day.
It adds to the flavour. Personally, I find that pooping in my morning cup of coffee gives me the boost and feel good attitude I need to survive the day.
