If it's not all covered in mold cut the moldy pieces off. But come on now, don't feed the ducks food you wouldn't eat.
Yes because the mold could spread inside their bodies and they would get real sick and even die. Also you could feed them bread but not too much and not too bigg peices. Ducks that eat too much bread could die because the bread would get stuck on the digestive system and they won't be able to poop. So feed them TINY peices of bread but just a little. My ducks get tiny peices of bread as special treats once a day.
Yes, but mostly because sucks shouldn't be eating bread. It's very bad for them. You can find cheap wild bird seed at almost any store, feed them that its much better for them
I have a loaf of bread in my bin. It got mouldy before I got round to eating it so I threw it away. Now I've got a few days working somewhere that has a lovely duck pond full of lovely ducks. So I was thinking I could revert to childhood & feed the ducks with my mouldy bread before work. I got the bread out of my bin again, then I thought I wouldn't eat the bread because the mould would make me ill. So would it make the ducks ill if they ate it? The bread is not stale, it's just rather mouldy in parts. It's a whole loaf of sliced bread in a plastic bag. It seems a shame to waste it, but I wouldn't want to make the ducks ill so what do you think?
If it wouldn't make the ducks ill how come they're not affected when I probably would be?
Thankyou for your answers.
