First off, what type of bird? I suggest you hold it 1 time a day for 15 minutes after clipping wings. It will fall several times than get tired of it than gradually bump up the minutes per day till your best pals.

So my bird is four years old and his mate passed away this year. I bought him from petco and both of them were not tame. The bird i have now, angel, is not tamed. I need to change his cage, he usally flys around his cage and is scared but now everytime we attempt to change his cage he falls to the bottom of the cage and like "plays dead" i dont even know if he is having a heart attack or what. And i CANNOT take him to the vet because even if i do he would die of a heart attack on the way there. And i dont want to get another bird because if i do i dont want him to get old and pass away and have another bird with the same problem. I can not give him away because even if i move his cage he gets scared, and i love him too much. He is more bonded with me then anyone in my family, my mom wants me to change his cage because i am more close with him but i dont want to because i dont want to see my baby boy fall down on the floor or me getting to scared and something goes wrong.
