Of course, I call her "sugar." That is just innocent flirting.

Usually, when a guy calls you sweet names, it can be a couple differ things. One, he likes you and is flirting or two, he calls everybody those cutesy names because he either doesn't remember your real name or is afraid of calling you by the wrong name. LOL you gotta get to know the guy before figuring out which one is which.
Nothing, honey is less offensive than sweetie, less personal than baby.
