Can you mix a canary winged parakeet with a sun conure?

As in housing? It's a bad idea to mix a parakeet with a different bird species. Period. Some people have luck and their parakeets end up getting along with other species, but I wouldn't allow them out of my vision. If you do end up buying a conure, get a separate cage for it line their cages side by side so they each have a little company.

Also, if you haven't separated your sick parakeet from the other, please do it. You're putting your other parakeet in jeopardy.

I have 2 canary winged parakeets, but one of them is really sick and is dying, and i dont want to buy another one, so im looking towards a sun conure and just wondering if i could mix my parakeet with him

mixed marriages never work out. and the children suffer the most.

Try cloning. They can clone sheep, they can clone birds.

Cross breeding parrots is possible in some cases. This is not something to be taken lightly, or done to save money. You could end up with sickly or strange looking offspring.
