Anybody know what spider this is ?

Just found this, still alive looking menacing , never seen one like this before .

That's a most interesting-looking animal and I've never seen anything like it. What part of the world are located in?

I'm not so sure it's a Pholcid - those legs are very interesting and very different from any Pholcid I've ever seen. You might try this link to see what they say:

or this one:

Either way, I suspect that you're quite right, and this is a spider and not a Harvestman (Opiliones). The nub at the back puts me in mind of one of the trash spiders (Cyclosa spp.) (which are way too small and have different legs), or perhaps something in the Uloboridae (the cribellate orbweavers) which I'm unfamiliar with. The Uloborids may have weird leg flanges and odd body shapes.

Edit #2: Well, I'll be dogged! I looked at LN's link, and it sure looks like he's right! That's a new one on me, and I was completely wrong.

That is not the Pholsidae. These arachnids are in the order Opiliones and not true spiders.

Common name is harvesman or grandaddy long-legs.

They are totally harmless to humans, produce no venom, and have no fangs, nor are they known to bite.

These do have autospasy at the coxae.(they can remove a leg if trapped or injured.)

The two small appendages in front are called pedipalps.

I had a rather large one in my kitchen (a pet) that chilled on the cupboards most of the day.

A bit like this one:

Your may be genus Protolophus, but don't recognize this as north American species.

Bet you didn't know this! You can upload an image to google and search, google will find similar pictures! You're bound to find a name that way! (I can't do it now because I'm at work...and for some reason, don't update the web browsers...)

Nice find, it is a Harvestman, I believe it is Dicranopalpus ramosus http://www.spiderling.de/arages/Fotogale... These guys are related to spiders, but are in a more primitive group. One way to tell them from spiders is that they have only a single body segment, not the two found in true spiders. They are harmless...

It's a run the f*ck away screaming spider

P.s no idea what it really is
