I have a co worker that says she found flea eggs on her head, is that possible?

My guess is yes, since I have seen them on cats.

Besides combing them out, she should apply Crisco Shortening to her hair at night. This fat will suffocate any kind of insects.

She would have to comb out the shortening in the morning, maybe using liquid vegetable oil to help wash it out prior to using shampoo.

A vacume cleaner can get fleas, and their eggs up. She will need to vacume under the edges of carpets to get the eggs hidden under there.

Combing your cat/dog with a lice comb and then placing in in ice water is a good way to get the fleas out, they cannot jump when they are ice cold.

Fleas complete the first stages of their life cycle (egg, larva, pupa) off their host. It's only the adult that occurs on the host.

Lice eggs, yes....Fleas, no...
