My bird was the same, he never slept at night and always pick the cage door to come to me while im in bed using the computer, then 3 months ago a bird expert told me it is because of the light, birds think it's the day still and I realized it's true that I leave the light on. I still have the light on at night to do my stuff in my room but I lay a black sheet on the cage and cover 3 sides of the cage and leave the one for oxygen. My bird sleeps and no more noisy night
How many birds do you have in one cage , do they fight even during the day or only at night ? Some kinds like to sleep alone and it would be good if you have a small light source nearby (not to bright) .
Is the cage new to them ?
You could try grinding up some sleeping pills and put them in their water.
Whenever I put them to sleep either they fight or cling to bars. I do put sheet on them but they just don't sleep. Help!!
