You need a license to be a wildlife rehabilitator or to keep wildlife as "pets". Most species are illegal to keep under most circumstances.

Most of our domesticated animals are breed to never grow up. Emotionally they pretty much stay adolescents.

Wildlife cannot be domesticated. They grow into full blown adults with adult wants, needs, desires -- all the instincts -- including possibly looking at you as either an enemy or as food.

Think of a wild animal as a tornado -- certainly not something the ordinary person can deal with.

I'm fascinated by badgers. i was wondering if i found a badger i would have to help him. would i give him food and water or just give him some warmth then let him out again. i would love a badger as a pet though, that would be fab!
