They both aren't likely to kill you, just give you bad injuries. Being struck by lightning is more possible than being eaten by a shark. And unlike tigers which fight to kill, lions want to show dominance.

I know how to prevent an attack from a lion, and the shark's nose is very sensitive so if you tapped it that would cause it to flee. Such a difficult choice, but in the water you are more vulnerable.

I would face a shark in the sea.
